Uppercase Branding, now entering it’s eighth year, is doing extraordinarily well. That milestone coincided with my reaching a certain age and so sparked an interest in a scouting out a new car.

While I do have a need for a simple, reliable conveyance, I found myself test driving a Porsche 911 for reasons only my therapist can discern.  And that got me thinking.

911 is a simple number, meaning nothing.  Yet language enthusiasts ponder multiple interpretations while downshifting along the Pacific Coast Highway.

911 is the very soul of production sports car perfection but…

911 is the number to call when there is an emergency. And there are never good emergencies are there?

911 is a date that is recognizable to every American on the planet.

Two powerfully negative associations with that brand.  Yet I still really want one.
